The Head Coach is responsible for leading and managing a competitive Wrestling program, recruiting and retaining a roster of 30 student-athletes, focusing on player development, strategic planning, and team performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited Institution.
• Firm commitment to the mission of York University.
• Christian Character displayed by:
1. Positive interaction with students, especially student athletes.
2. Christian attitude and behavior displayed during practice and competition.
3. Representation of Christian principles toward campus constituents, including
faculty, staff, students, administration, board, and local community.
• Experience in coaching Wrestling, preferably at the collegiate level.
• Proven ability to recruit student-athletes and provide spiritual leadership.
• Provide academic oversight for the men’s wrestling team.
• The ability to work within a budget outlined by the athletic department.
