Xavier University is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Athletics Director for Sales. This position will oversee the management, administration and operations of the Xavier University Athletic Ticket Office and Premium Seating program. This position is directly responsible for outbound sales, with an emphasis on the sale and service of tickets for Xavier University men's and women’s basketball. This role will also manage hospitality sales for any spaces within Cintas Center on game days.
The Xavier University Department of Athletics sponsors 19 sports programs with more than 330 student-athletes, and is a member of the Big East Conference. The Assistant Athletics Director for Sales will be a member of the Xavier Athletics Senior Staff and report to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Coordinate sales and service for existing athletics customers, and cultivate new customers through outbound sales efforts.
Provide direction and administrative oversight for Ticket Sales Manager and Athletic Ticket Office functions.
Work with Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations to develop all ticket pricing, packaging, and marketing strategies for athletic events.
Coordinate season ticket renewals, as well as allocation and distribution of tickets for season and individual games.
Collaborate with All For One Fund staff on all premium seating, hospitality and fundraising initiatives including management and allocation of donor-based parking.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective sales campaigns, promotions, and branding strategies.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional experiences and service.
Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate and optimize sales performance, making data-driven decisions to maximize results.
Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and maximizing sales performance across different channels.
Represent the organization at events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in intercollegiate athletics ticket sales and operations, or 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Master’s degree and supervisory experience is preferred.

Have demonstrated experience in the development and management of budgets.
Have proficiency with Paciolan ticketing and Eloqua marketing automation systems.
This role will require a flexible schedule and must be able to work nights and weekends.
