Marketing and Video Internships

Video Internship

·         Assist in the preparation and execution of gameday operations for various college sports events.

·         Collaborate with the broadcast team to ensure seamless execution of game-day productions.

·         Assist in execution of live streaming of athletic events, ensuring high production quality and adherence to NCAA regulations for ESPN+.

·         Create engaging video content that captures the spirit of athletic events and showcases student-athletes.

·         Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for live broadcasts, highlight reels, promotional materials, and social media.

·         Coordinate with the marketing team to align video content with overall branding and promotional campaigns.

·         Other duties as assigned by the Assistant AD of Marketing and Video.

Marketing Internship

·         Assist in the preparation and execution of gameday operations for various college sports events.

·         Support the setup and breakdown Wofford Athletics Events including equipment, facilities, and promotional materials.

·         Create and oversee initiatives to enhance fan engagement and game presentation.

·         Create and execute scripts and timing sheets for all home events. Including the creation and execution of all promotional activities.

·         Assist with the creation of graphics and creative content to promote our athletic teams.

·         Develop the vision, strategy, and brand for assigned sport programs by managing social media accounts, creating content calendars and collaborating with other units to create and design artwork, graphics, and content for a variety of platforms.

·         Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the athletic department staff.

·         Represent Wofford Athletics at community events and increase brand awareness.

·         Manage community outreach and engagement through the Spartanburg community.

·         Other duties as assigned by the Assistant AD of Marketing and Video.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree required.

·         Working knowledge of gameday operations, marketing, content creation and social media in collegiate or professional sports.

·         Previous experience in collegiate or professional sports preferred.

·         Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

·         Organized, dependable, punctual, willing to learn and a self-starter

·         Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays

Start Date: August 2025

Additional Salary Information: Monthly stipend and campus meal plan provided. Additional income opportunities may exist.
