Essential Functions
The Volleyball Coach will control all aspects of the volleyball program, including but not limited to:
Practice planning and facilitating practical training sessions.
Teaching and reinforcing volleyball skills and game strategies.
The recruitment of high-caliber student-athletes who align with the values and mission of Williams Baptist University.
Maintaining weekly office hours to support athletes and program operations.
Overseeing team managers and ensuring preparation for practices, conditioning, and competitions.
Providing care and maintenance for the volleyball court and locker room areas.
Coordinate team travel and logistics for away games and tournaments.
Competencies
Proven ability to teach and develop student-athletes in a collegiate setting.
Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies, and collegiate-level standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Guide student-athletes and team managers
Requirements
Master’s degree required.
Basic First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hiring).
NAIA Champions of Character training completion is preferred.
