Position Summary |
Acts as the operations manager for department events and sports competitions. Share in the supervision and maintenance of facilities and events.

Conditions of Employment |
• Subject to evening, weekend and holiday work. May be subject to occasional travel.
• This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor. • Restricted position subject to availability of funding. |

Required Qualifications |
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in facility/event management. • Organizational, administrative and computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database, preferably Microsoft Office and Photoshop. • Knowledge of the fiscal/budgetary process of managing facilities and events. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others using strong interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of the care and maintenance of outdoor athletic facilities, including natural grass and artificial turf fields. |
Preferred Qualifications |
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in collegiate athletics or higher education. • Experience in the care and maintenance of outdoor athletic facilities, including natural grass and artificial turf fields. • Experience with Microsoft Office and Photoshop. |
