The Assistant Coaches are responsible for providing leadership and direction for the highly competitive NCAA Division I athletic program. Assistant Coaches develop and implement team strategies for their assigned specialty areas and provide one on one and small-group instruction. They are also responsible for identifying and maintaining schools and players of interest for recruiting; for planning and scheduling community service activities for the team; for assisting with program administration in the areas of travel, equipment, budget, and compliance; and for utilizing film and video to consistently improve the players and the team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and or experience.
Skills or competencies related to the sport and previous collegiate coaching experience of the sport.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience with practical applications of technology related to the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate coaching experience, specifically for goalkeeper coaching.
Division 1 collegiate goalkeeper playing experience.
Experience with Practical Technology Applications.
