Wichita State University Athletics is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer to serve in the Wichita State University Athletic Department. Responsibilities include providing injury prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation for student-athletes both male and female. Primary sport responsibility will be with men's and women's cross country/track & field. Additional responsibilities include supervision of master’s level athletic training students, graduate assistant athletic trainer, maintenance of injury, treatment, and rehabilitation records for student-athletes, team travel with assigned teams, and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Directors of Sports Medicine/Sr. Associate AD/Health & Performance & Primary Healthcare Administrator. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, physical education, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. NATA/CPR/PR/AED certifications. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for a license with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants must be able to abide by the rules and regulations of Wichita State University, the American Athletic Conference, NCAA, and the WSU-ICAA.
