Head Men's Lacrosse Coach

Wheaton College, an NCAA institution located in Norton, Massachusetts, is looking for a motivated, energetic, passionate, and caring individual to lead our highly competitive men’s lacrosse program. The Head Coach prepares the team for a full intercollegiate varsity season. Develop a recruiting plan and evaluate and identify qualified student-athletes. Prepare and manage operating, recruiting, and fundraising budgets. Commitment to working and teaching within an environment that embraces the holistic development of the student-athlete. Serve in an administrative capacity and have a secondary duty as directed by the Athletic Administration. Comply with all NCAA Division III, NEWMAC and Wheaton College rules and regulations.

• Organize and conduct team practices to prepare the team for competition. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally for any regular or post-season events.

• Develop and execute a recruiting plan for prospective student-athletes.

• Serve in an administrative capacity as needed, including but not limited to game management and a secondary duty.

• Oversee the student-athlete’s academic progress and be available for consultation and support for overall student-athlete well-being.

• Create and implement a plan of engagement and communication with alumni and fundraising initiatives.
