Head Football Coach

The Department of Athletics at Westminster College invites applications for the position of Head Football Coach.  This full-time position will provide direction for an NCAA Division III football program.

 

The head coach's duties will include managing all aspects of running a Football program, including coaching, recruiting, and program administration. The program will operate within the athletic policies and mission of Westminster College, the President’s Athletic Conference (PAC), and NCAA Division III.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 

•         Be a person of good character 

•         All aspects of coaching and administration of a Division III Football program

•         Recruiting athletically and academically qualified student-athletes

•         Organizing, scheduling, and conducting practices and games

•         Encouraging commitment to academic excellence

•         Ensuring program compliance with all College, PAC, and NCAA rules and regulations

•         Fundraising and outreach programs

•         Additional administrative duties as assigned

A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree preferred. Applicants with previous college-level coaching and recruiting experience will be given preference.
