
The Head Lacrosse Coach is a full-time 10 month position responsible for running all phases of an NCAA Division II lacrosse program including recruiting, retention, player training and development and other duties as assigned by the VP of Intercollegiate Athletics. The position will begin in August 2026.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operations of both the women’s lacrosse program.
Analyze performance and instruct athletes in practice and matches.
Organized and responsible for all clerical duties as assigned in a timely manner.
Assist with all phases of competitive NCAA compliant recruiting.
Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
Complete other duties as assigned by the VP of Intercollegiate Athletics and Athletic Department.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required.
Applicants must have previous collegiate head coach experience.
Successful coaching at the playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is required.
Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends).
Proven track record of fundraising at the collegiate level.
Able to lift up to at least 50 pounds.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of previous coaching experience at the NCAA level
2+ years organizing youth programming and instruction
3+ year experience in organizing events (ex: tournaments, fundraisers)
NCAA D2 playing experience or higher
