This position will provide counseling services to the student-athlete population, including but not limited to, conducting individualized performance counseling to support the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of the student-athletes’ population as well as provide group and team supports, consultation and training to coaches, sports medicine staff and other athletic department staff; participating on interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with athletic administration in the creation of prevention programming and serving on various departmental/campus committees/working groups. The position reports directly to the Athletics Director and to the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Director.
