Fan Experience & Sales Fellow, Department of Athletics (R0007868)

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Fan Experience & Sales staff with the development and execution of marketing and sales plans for all 18 athletic programs.

  • Develop and execute traditional and grassroots marketing and sales plans for various sports.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing plans and concepts which will drive engagement and membership in the Screamin’ Demon Student Rewards program.

  • Coordinate with the Fan Experience & Sales staff and local community organizations on the planning and preparation for special city-wide and university events.

  • Create select graphic and video assets for use in promoting athletic programs and special events. 

  • Assist with internet and social media advertising planning as well as email marketing initiatives. 

  • Ensure all assigned tasks are carried out in compliance with department, University, ACC, and NCAA rules and regulations.

  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing or related field. 

Experience:

  • One Year of experience in fan experience, marketing, communications, public relations, live events or related field.

  • Willing to work in a team atmosphere where expectations are set and managed while giving staff flexibility to do their assigned task as both a leader and/or a follower.

  • Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace.

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.

  • Highly organized and ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong initiative to solve problems.

  • Extraordinary focus on customer service.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
