Lindauer is proud to partner with USA Lacrosse, the national governing body for men’s and women’s lacrosse in the United States, in its search for a Vice President, Philanthropy. This role comes at a pivotal moment for the sport, with lacrosse returning as a medal event in the 2028 Olympics.

 

Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Vice President, Philanthropy will play a vital role in the development and execution of strategic fundraising goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of philanthropic strategy, a passion for sport, and the vision to lead USA Lacrosse through a period of growth and transformation.

 

Job Duties:

• Serve on, and partner with, the Leadership team to develop a comprehensive multi-year strategy to increase philanthropic revenue.

• Lead efforts to diversify revenue streams, with a focus on major and principal gifts.

• Collaborate with the USA Lacrosse Foundation Board and national teams to advance the sport’s prominence.

• Drive a culture of philanthropy and ensure alignment with USA Lacrosse’s mission and values.

• Engage with a diverse range of constituents at the local, regional, and national levels.

 

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in fundraising, philanthropic giving, or program development,with a preference for national or regional level experience.

• Proven success in generating philanthropic revenue, with a strong understanding of nonprofit operations and leveraging programs for success.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing national fundraising strategies and managing donor relationships, with up to 50% travel.

• Leadership experience, including working with Boards, cultivating relationships, and aligning with organizational mission and values.

• Strong project management, communication, and team management skills, with knowledge of fundraising software like Salesforce.
