Graduate Assistant Track & Field Coach

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Assist with coaching of the jumping events or sprint events

·         Assist head coach in coordinating practice logistics, assisting with team travel to meets and off-site practices.

·         Identify and recruit talented and qualified prospective student-athletes according to NCAA and WIAC

standards and regulations.

·         Assist with camps and clinics

·         Assist the head coach with the day-to-day operations of a collegiate track and field program.

Position Skills and Abilities:

·         Leadership

·         Collegiate experience in the sprints or jumps preferred

Qualifications

·         Must be accepted by a UW-Stevens Point graduate program

•     A valid US driver’s license for more than 2 years.

·         A desire to coach at the collegiate level.
