
This role combines responsibilities within the Division of Student Affairs and Athletics, serving as both Assistant Track Coach and Athletic Facility Manager. As Assistant Coach, the position supports the University and Department objectives through planning, recruiting, coaching, developing, implementing, communicating, and administering the athletic program. This position is to lead the development of our short sprints, hurdles, or horizontal jumps event groups. Competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) widely recognized as the premier Division III conference in the nation—this role is vital to the sustained success of our men’s and women’s programs.
As Facility Coordinator, the position assists in the daily operations and utilization of some of the athletic facilities by students, faculty/staff, and community members. Key responsibilities include event coordination, facility operation and additional duties in weekly meetings.
Required Qualifications:
· Proven experience coaching or competing at a high level (specifically in short
sprints, hurdles, or horizontal jumps).
· Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Facility coordination or related experience
· Collegiate coaching or participation experience.
· Demonstrated success in collegiate recruiting and talent identification.
· In-depth knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and compliance.
· Experience working effectively with diverse populations.
