Responsibilities: Working closely with the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations, the Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement will provide leadership and strategic direction for the marketing and fan engagement unit within Athletics. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans for Milwaukee Athletics. In addition, this position will be responsible for the game entertainment and experience at Panther Athletics events, they will lead all on-campus and student marketing initiatives, as well as the coordination of community engagement, outreach activities and external events, and advertising that promote Panther Athletics. This position will also oversee the mascot program, spirit squads, and student marketing staff.

 

Minimum Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree, or combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • At least two (2) years of experience working in college athletics or a professional sport setting.

  • Demonstrated excellence with verbal, written, and communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:        

  • Experience coordinating in-game promotions and entertainment for athletic events

  • Experience coordinating on-campus and student marketing/engagement initiatives

  • Experience organizing community engagement and outreach activities.

 

Appointment/Salary:  This is a 12-month full-time limited, non-teaching Academic Staff position.  This position comes with a competitive salary and benefit package.
