Job Summary
Team Operations Coordinator will provide organization, management, and administration for the UTSA women's basketball team.
Core Responsibilities
Coordinates and implements the administration, management, and execution of strategies in support of the goals and objectives of the athletics program.
Provides necessary coordination with teams, ensures essential game films are sent and received in a timely manner per existing agreements. Oversees technology needs – makes recommendations for equipment repairs, upgrades, and enhancements. Alerts the head coach to any issues.
Works closely with coaches and athletic department personnel to ensure compliance paperwork is appropriately completed and submitted.
Coordinates ticket requests and distribution with the ticket office.
Organizes team community activities and programs. Makes recommendations to coaches for new team events and specific details of planned events.
Serves as primary liaison to the marketing department for home game activities.
Assists with recruiting mail-outs.
Manages team travel and meals, ensuring arrangements are optimally structured to provide efficient team management while conforming to University/NCAA guidelines.
Gathers and reviews information on the academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
Assists with the organization and delivery of summer camps and special programs.
Promotes safety and environmental protection by immediately reporting unsafe situations, spills, and accidents; following University safety plans/procedures/protocols; and participating in appropriate safety training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of professional work experience OR as a collegiate basketball player OR in a collegiate athletics support and/or administration role.
This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated independent decision-making and problem-solving ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions
Office environment.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
Occasional after-hours and weekend work or overtime may be required.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee’s responsibility.
