Core Responsibilities
Manages a personal portfolio of major and annual gift donors and prospects; meets or exceeds defined visit and fundraising goals.
Oversees Roadrunner Athletic Fund (RAF) annual fund strategic plans to ensure clear communication, data-driven decision-making, effective copywriting for appeals, thorough program performance analysis, and projects completed on time and within budget. The annual fund program includes:
Direct mail solicitations and email-giving campaigns
Outbound renewal and upgrade phone calls
Premium seating and priority parking sales
Coordination of restrictive giving funds
Lead generation and solicitations
Stewardship
Social media
Manages renewal, solicitation, and communication processes for the Alamodome football suites; collaborates with key partners in Athletics to support overall ticket sales.
Coordinates gameday hospitality for football and basketball seasons, such as the 2011 Club, Touchdown Club, and suites.
Supervises RAF staff members; provides training and coaching to ensure goals and performance expectations are met.
Serves as liaison with university departments and external constituents on behalf of the RAF.
Develops and manages the annual fund budget.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Additional education may substitute for experience on a one-for-one basis.
Five (5) years of relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office, and standard office equipment.
Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in collegiate or professional athletics.
