
The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc (UTFI) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of Annual Fund Coordinator, Parking Operations for the Tennessee Fund. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Development, Annual Fund, the Annual Fund Coordinator, Parking Operations, is responsible for overseeing donor parking operations and allocation processes across multiple sports and serve as the Tennessee Fund’s subject matter expert on donor parking.
This role will ensure parking privileges are administered accurately, consistently, transparently, and in accordance with established Tennessee Fund policies and donor eligibility requirements. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Donor Parking Operations, Strategy, and Assignments: Serve as the Tennessee Fund's subject matter expert on donor parking, overseeing assignments for football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and other applicable sports. Manage the allocation process so assignments are accurate and consistent with donor rank, eligibility guidelines, inventory availability, and Tennessee Fund policies. Independently resolve complex allocation issues, discrepancies, and exceptions, using discretion to interpret policy where procedures aren't clear. Monitor inventory and assignments to spot trends and issues early, identify new parking options that improve the donor experience, and advise leadership, staff, and campus partners on strategy, risks, and recommended solutions.
Customer Service and Constituent Support: Provide timely, professional support to Tennessee Fund constituents by phone, email, and other correspondence, serving as a key resource on parking assignments, policies, and eligibility. Evaluate donor questions and concerns, offering guidance and resolutions within established policies and the scope of the position's authority. Communicate allocation decisions and procedures clearly and consistently to donors and internal stakeholders. Partner with Tennessee Fund leadership and campus partners on complex or sensitive matters when appropriate.
Special Projects, Departmental Priorities, and Policy and Process Management: Lead or support special projects, events, and cross-functional initiatives with Tennessee Fund staff and campus partners that advance the department's highest priorities and the overall donor experience. Evaluate the operational needs of assigned projects and recommend practical approaches and solutions. Continuously audit parking policies, procedures, and practices to ensure they are effective, consistent, fair, and transparent. Recommend and implement approved improvements with leadership and campus partners, then assess their effectiveness and refine them as needs evolve.
Required Education and Experience
The candidate who fills the Annual Fund Coordinator, Parking Operations, position is required to have:
Bachelor’s degree
1+ year of relevant full- time professional experience
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing large volumes of data, assignments, and constituent information
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related business applications
Experience with Ticketmaster, donor management systems, or similar ticketing and constituent relationship management platforms
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required due to travel responsibilities of the position. UTFI reserves the right to consider all appropriate circumstances. In general, any significant driving offense less than 12 months old will eliminate the application from consideration for the position.
Preferred Education and Experience
In addition to meeting the required qualifications, the preferred candidate will have:
Master’s degree
Professional experience in ticketing, athletic development, fundraising, customer service, or a related field preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with donors, colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement processes and plans
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast- paced, deadline- driven environment
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
