Job Description

The Managing Director plays a crucial role in the Bulls Branding Agency (BBA) by ensuring the vision of the Chief Marketing Officer of the BBA is carried through by managing the day-to-day operations including project execution, team coordination, and strategic alignment with South Florida Athletics’ brand vision to grow and activate its fan base. This position ensures the seamless integration of all agency units including brand strategy, content production, digital management, live event experience, advertising, PR, and statistical research efforts to support BBA clients.
The Managing Director will work closely with internal stakeholders, sport programs, and external partners to maintain high standards of execution, consistency, and innovation across all branding and marketing initiatives in order to improve the overall fan experience and increase revenue to support South Florida Athletics and its sport programs and student-athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure efficient workflow across all functional areas.

  • Oversee the execution of 365-day marketing plans for South Florida’s athletic programs, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule. 

  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly huddles and strategy sessions with Brand Managers to align priorities and adjust plans as needed.

  • Develop and track key performance metrics across branding initiatives, ensuring effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.

  • Work closely with the Director to establish processes for quality control, project tracking, and overall agency accountability.

  • Guide Brand Managers in developing and refining marketing plans, integrating digital, content, advertising, and PR efforts.

  • Serve as the Brand Manager for South Florida Football, setting strategy and leading execution of the 365-day marketing plan. 

  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms.

  • Support team members in brainstorming and executing innovative storytelling strategies. 

  • Collaborate with sport administrators, coaches, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution of initiatives. 

  • Set standards and process for execution of scope agreements and client service.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
