Assistant Director of Event Management and Camps

The Assistant Director of Sports Camps will be responsible for coordinating the logistics items including payments, communications with campers, parents, and department staff, website maintenance, and coordinating athletic department processes for all of Pitt Sports Camps. The individual will also help our coaches and staff create a memorable Kin-camp experience. The individual will supervise undergraduate student workers and interns who will coordinate all camp operations including set-up, tear down, registration, merchandise inventory, cash handling, and providing quality customer service. This position will report directly to the Director of Sports Camps.
Job Summary
Coordinates and executes all facets of advertising, marketing, and promoting of sport camps. Enforces all sports camp policies and procedures and evaluates the effectiveness of camps. Assists with logistical operations and coordinates communications between coaches, staff, volunteers, and camp attendees. Oversees the work of students and interns.
Essential Functions

Physical Effort
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. May need to lift equipment, mail, or supplies up to 50 pounds.
