Position Description:

Responsible for budgetary and account management for intercollegiate athletics and athletic facility operations; primary advisor to Director of Athletics with respect to financial operations and strategic planning; prepares mandated financial reports for Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA); forecasts budgetary adjustments; performs financial and budgetary analysis; ensures policy and procedural compliance; provides oversight on all financial and business transaction activity for intercollegiate athletics; serves on Athletics Senior Leadership team; and supervises and evaluates assigned staff.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required.

Required Qualifications:

At least five years accounting or financial strategic planning experience required. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Big 12 Wrestling Conference and the University of Northern Iowa.

Desirable Qualifications:

Division I NCAA athletic department experience preferred.
