Position Summary:
This position is to assist the Director of Equipment Operations (DEO) in the oversight of the athletic equipment room; includes ordering uniforms and equipment, laundry duties, fitting and tracking uniforms and equipment for 17 sports.
Job Duties:
Assist DEO in processing orders for 17 sport programs.
Assist with receiving and inventory all uniforms and equipment.
Assist DEO with checking out uniforms and equipment to student athletes, checking eligibility.
Assist with fitting football equipment, such as helmets, shoulder pads, jerseys, pants, other padding. Oversee laundry operations for all sports.
Place orders, including processing payment, for assigned Teams and Departments for equipment.
Assist DEO with locker room set up for assigned sports.
Assist with football practice and game day needs on practice field/Nottingham Stadium when needed. Assist in maintenance of uniforms and equipment.
Assist DEO with student employee management, assigning tasks and scheduling hours for all student employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience in athletic equipment room setting or equivalent experience required; intercollegiate athletic experience preferred. For football assigned duties: experience working with football is preferred, particularly at the collegiate level. Experience with inventory, receiving, auditing systems preferred.
First Aid/CPR/AED certification required but may be obtained after hire. AEMA certification preferred but can seek within 1 year of hire.
