Director of Annual Giving

The Director of Annual Giving provides overall strategy, leadership and direction for the Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation’s annual giving program. This role manages all aspects of the annual giving program while maintaining a portfolio of donors, growing the membership to increase revenue, and serving as a development liaison to a number of sport programs. The role requires collaboration with various departments including University Advancement, the Athletics Ticket Office, and other partners across the University. The Director takes direction from the Chief Operating Officer and works in close partnership with the Executive Director, providing leadership to an Assistant Director of Annual Giving. The Director will also work closely with the Athletic Foundation’s Event/Stewardship Coordinator to appropriately acknowledge annual fund donors.
