Development Intern - Member Services

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MEMBER SERVICES:

  • Serve as primary initial contact for current and prospective Rams Club donors via phone and email communication.

  • Assist the Member Services team with executing individual ticket and parking assignment for Football and Basketball games.

  • Assist in the execution of The Rams Club’s annual membership cycle (database management, communications, etc.).

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of game-day member stewardship efforts.

  • Attend all home Football and Basketball games as well as special events as necessary.

PROGRAMS MANAGEMENT:

  • Support the Annual Fund team by developing and executing strategies for programs growth.

  • Manage and execute Kids Club Days at sporting events and Kids Club Birthday Parties.

  • Responsible for Kids Club presence at Football, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Basketball gamedays.

  • Coordinate all membership outreach for Kids Club (i.e. Birthday cards, Kids Club Days).

  • Responsible for data integrity for all programs.

  • Execute New Student Orientation process for Student Rams Club.

  • Coordinate and plan events for the Student Rams Club including t-shirt pick-ups, watch parties, Coaches Dinner, Rivalry Week and Punt, Pass and Kick event.

  • Develop communication strategy for Student Rams Club including social media and text.

NECESSARY SKILLS

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Working knowledge of or willingness to learn database management system.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above prescribed responsibilities.

  • Ability to interact, write, speak and communicate clearly with our donors and constituents, while portraying a professional image and demeanor.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work tasks.

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.

  • Must be able to drive.

  • Ability to see, hear, speak, maintain cognitive function at a high level and move about the office, along with ability to lift 20 pounds.

  • Ability to attend athletic events in varying environments including inclement weather.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree required.

  • One year of Athletics Development experience preferred.
