Summary of Position
The Athletic Ticket Operations Manager reports to the Associate Athletic Director, Business Development and is responsible for all matters pertaining to customer service, athletic ticket sales and operations, distribution of marketing materials, special event preparation, administrative information systems and marketing and sales reporting. The Athletic Ticket Operations Manager creates a comfortable ticket purchasing atmosphere for customers making the buying process easy and customer friendly and revenue enhancing.

Other minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree (Business, Marketing, Communications preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a box office/sales environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Proficient in a ticketing solutions system as well as Excel
  • Expected to work weekends, holidays, and nighttime hours
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring and managing part time employees is required

  • Experience in a sports box office
  • Highly effective telephone, computer, and organizational skills
  • The ability to maintain composure and professionalism during periods of peak demand
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to highest level of customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience in developing budgets and managing cost-of-sales is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and procedures
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with internal and external clients at all levels
