
Nevada Athletics is recruiting for an Assistant Director of Development, Donor Relations. This position is responsible for donor engagement and stewardship activities for individuals who support Nevada Athletics. Positions support events, stewardship and donor relations, donor communication, Wolf Pack Athletic Association (WPAA) benefits as well as ensure data and processes are successful for the operation.
Key Duties Include:
Manage and coordinate operations and stewardship activities for all athletic activities including football tailgate and men’s basketball lounge.
Work in coordination with Asst AD Special Events, to plan and execute all WPAA events to include football and basketball preseason events, Governor’s Dinner, Back the Pack Auction, VIP WPAA event, etc.
Lead and enhance stewardship efforts for all WPAA members
Develop and execute social media strategy and create graphic content for WPAA’s social media account. Work in conjunction with creative staff to collaborate on all content.
Manage a small portfolio of mid-level donors, with a focus on relationship building and pipeline development.
Responsible for managing Naming Opportunities inventory. Work with development officers and campus donor relations on naming signage and execution.
Execute the department's plan for expanding business partnerships relative to Nevada's College Town and Wolf Pack Friday initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a Master’s Degree and one year of related work experience.
Related Experience: Fundraising, data management, college athletics administration, or similar experience
