Responsible for the official and unofficial visits of prospective student-athletes. Plan, coordinate, and oversee travel arrangements for coaches, prospective student athletes and their parents/guardians. Coordinate all aspects of incoming freshman, transfer and international track and field student athletes’ admissions to UNL, NCAA athletic eligibility certification and financial aid. Assist the Director of Operations with set up and meet day preparations for home competitions. Coordinate duties with the Track and Field officials’ organization. Manage the Track and Field office while securing and supervising student workers. Coordinate banquets and all business work with athletic department. Serve as liaison to a number of Athletic Department and University offices. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Some weekend and evening hours are required.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus one year of collegiate recruiting experience and knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules required; Supervisory experience required. Computer knowledge essential. Excellent communication skills necessary.
Preferred qualifications: Prefer Division 1 work experience; experience with ACS recruiting database. Event planning and coordination experience desirable.
