Description of Work    
The Director of Creative Content is the lead for in-venue and various Athletic Department content creation for the University of Nebraska Athletics. Some responsibilities will include: Create and execute creative, trendsetting ideas and concepts for in-game presentation including LED boards located at Memorial Stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena, Devaney Center, Hawks Field, Bowlin Stadium; Shoot, edit and composite everything from intro videos, video features, pump-up videos and highlights to headshots, 3D/2D animations and graphics; Act as lead motion creator for special content creation for LED displays, TV/streaming content, and various pre/post productions; Collaborate with multiple internal partners such as marketing, sales, social media, communications, academics, event management, and sports departments, supporting our brand and bringing energy to the creative process; Manage, schedule and train full-time staff and students. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Minimum Required Qualifications    
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting or related field. Two (2) years experience creating video content for collegiate athletic department, team or ad agency, or production-house. Experience working with 4K footage and LUTs. Videography skills including lighting, on-location shooting, live sporting events, and television/steamed shows. Applicants must supply a strong portfolio of previous work creating motion graphics and other produced/edited video projects. Excellent writing and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications    
Prefer experience creating team intros and creating content for non-standard video display dimensions. Prefer familiarity with multiple video file formats and media archival systems. Prefer the candidate to be highly proficient with Adobe Premiere editing, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and 3D software.
