Assistant AD of Communications

This position serves as the primary contact for Omaha Athletics’ sports information and communications department. This position will serve as the supervisor for two assistant sport information directors. This position will be responsible for the oversite of the website and social media content. This position will be responsible for the oversite of game day sports information duties, including but not limited to game day notes, game day stats and media relations. This position will serve as the main contact for media relations and will be responsible for press conferences, interview requests, press releases and other media related duties. This position will work with campus communications to ensure that communications, collaboration, and brand standards are appropriate. 

Minimum Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or related field

·       Two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
