Associate Director of Development

The Associate Director of Development is a full-time professional fund-raising position focusing on securing donor support to Nebraska Athletics. This position will support the Huskers Athletic Fund leadership team with assigned projects and internal operations tasks. The Associate Director of Development will also be asked to manage a portfolio of individuals, corporations and foundations to secure leadership annual, capital, endowment and planned gifts on behalf of Nebraska Athletics. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion and will need to be available to manage 50% travel, including evenings, weekends and holidays, when needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management or related plus one (1) year of professional experience in development, sales, or marketing. Working knowledge of basic office software required. Excellent customer relations and communication skills are required.

Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
The ideal candidate may have experience in athletics and/or higher education and/or experience working within a philanthropic fundraising organization.
