Head Men's & Women's Cross Country Coach and Coordinator of Game Operations

Primary Responsibilities:

Head Cross Country Coach Duties: • Direct all aspects of the men’s and women’s cross country programs, including training, competition, recruiting, and student-athlete development. • Foster a positive team culture focused on academic success, integrity, and competitive excellence. • Oversee practice and competition schedules, travel planning, and budget management. • Maintain compliance with NCAA, GLVC, and UMSL regulations and standards. • Promote engagement within the campus and broader community through outreach and service.

Coordinator of Game Day Operations Duties: • Assist in the planning and execution of game day operations for home athletic events in winter and spring. • Support event setup, in-game logistics, and post-event breakdown. • Collaborate with facilities, officials, visiting teams, and internal staff to ensure smooth and professional event execution. • Help coordinate staffing, including student workers and event personnel. •Ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for student-athletes, fans, and all stakeholders.
