Minimum Position Qualifications    
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
Special Conditions    
The Department of Athletics is especially interested in persons with experience in preparing NCAA and Conference reports.

Must be able to comply with all Athletic Department, University, Board of Trustees, Conference, and NCAA policies and procedures..

This position is posted until filled. The department will begin screening immediately.

Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities    
Budget & Finance

· Assist with creation, updates and coordinate distribution of monthly budget reports for all sports and administrative units and communicate regularly with coaches, staff and leadership regarding any budget concerns.
· Perform quality control review of all financial transactions and making correcting entries on a regular basis
· Assist with contracts, including for various sport games, to include insuring appropriate review, obtaining approvals, and organizing documentation, and tracking of key terms/deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities    
Accounting & Reporting

· Assist with all annual financial reporting for the University, NCAA, Conference, etc.
· Reconcile income statement and balance sheet accounts to supporting documentation including monthly/quarterly reconciliation of ticket sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, etc.
· Assist with daily deposits of cash/checks and accurate recording of credit/other sales. Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for audit purposes and compliance with appropriate policies and procedures.

· Initiate the hiring process for full-time, temporary, student and graduate assistant staff members and monitor and communicate with HR and Senior Leadership on status and any needed actions
Review and approve bi-weekly timesheets and monthly leave reports for department staff
