Athletics Business Graduate Assistant

Summary            

The University of Houston Athletic Business Operations Department is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026 - 2027 school year. The position supports the daily business operations of University of Houston Athletics through assistance with budgeting, financial reporting, purchasing, travel reconciliation, Revenue Share and departmental administrative processes. The Graduate Assistant position will get hands-on experience in Division I collegiate athletics administration working closely with our seventeen (17) Intercollegiate sports and other administrative units.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, sport management or related field.

-Admission to University of Houston graduate program and ability to maintain eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in NCAA Intercollegiate Athletics a plus

Compensation:

Tuition and fees for the Fall and Spring Semesters up to a maximum of $5,000 per semester

$1,500 per month stipend
