Manager, Knights Hospitality & Premium Game Day Experience

The Manager of Knights Hospitality & Premium Game Day Experience reports to the Assistant A.D., Knights Hospitality & Premium Services and is responsible for enhancing the game day atmosphere by overseeing all aspects of premium seating and hospitality services for UCF home football, men's basketball and baseball games. This role ensures that premium guests receive exceptional service, contributing to a memorable and engaging experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Premium Seating Management: Assist in oversight of operations of premium seating areas at Acrisure Bounce House, Addition Financial Arena and John Euliano Park

  • Guest Services: Design and execute guest experience programming that provides a welcoming, professional and luxurious atmosphere in premium areas. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly and effectively

  • Staffing: Assist with interviewing, onboarding and management of game day staff dedicated to premium areas, ensuring they provide top-tier service

  • Game Day Readiness: Conduct pre-event checks and walkthroughs of all premium areas to ensure readiness.

  • Vendor and Partner Relations: Coordinate with catering and other service providers to deliver high-quality food and beverage options. Coordinate with internal departments (ticketing, facilities, security, marketing) to streamline game day operations and resolve any issues efficiently.

  • Donor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with UCF donors, season ticket holders, and corporate partners to enhance their game day experience and long-term personalized engagement.

  • Experience Evaluation: Gather and evaluate guest feedback, post-event surveys, and staff input to continuously improve service delivery, hospitality programming, and premium touchpoints.

  • Strategic Planning: Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously evolve and improve UCF’s premium hospitality offerings.

  • Budget Management: Monitor budgets and work with Assistant A.D. of Knights Hospitality & Premium Services as related to premium services, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years appropriate experience.

  • Appropriate graduate coursework or master’s degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software and Canva is a plus

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
     

Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time.
