Under the oversight of the Director of Sports Medicine, the Intern Athletic Trainer will assist the Sports Medicine staff in the coordination of day-to-day sports medicine operations for Division I athletic teams, primarily with UCF’s spirit and cheer program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordination of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes for cheer and dance programs
Preceptor duties within UCF's Athletic Training Education Program
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in athletic training; or a bachelor degree in athletic training and two years appropriate experience.
Possession of or eligibility for NATABOC, CPR/AED-PR, and State of Florida Athletic Training License required.
Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
