Position assists the Facilities, Events, and Operations staff in the coordination of day-to-day facilities and event management for 16 Division I athletic teams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordination of scheduling / setup / breakdown of internal / external events
Liaison with related third party vendors
Gameday operations and event management for assigned sports, which includes being game administrator for select events
Management of student workforce
Assist with coordination of facility projects as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one (1) year appropriate experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Proficiency in both MS Office and EMS scheduling software
Experience managing budgets and events at the intercollegiate athletics level or higher.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position requires attendance at scheduled home games / matches, which may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time.
