Women's Swimming & Diving Associate

OVERVIEW

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) seeks a Women’s Swimming & Diving Associate who will serve at the direction of the Head Coach within the Swimming & Diving program. This position will assist in a number of capacities including practice planning and execution, coordinating operations and travel for the program, recruiting, community service opportunities, and other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Assisting the head coach with planning and implementation of daily practices

●      Coordination of operations, planning travel reservations, per diem, meals and travel itineraries

●      Contribute to weekly staff meetings

●      Recruiting - In collaboration with the head coach

●      Coaching - In collaboration with the head coach

●      Coordinating community service opportunities

●      Swim meet management duties

●      Assist with the management of equipment and travel

●      Assist with NCAA compliance reporting and academic monitoring

●      Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

●      Bachelor’s Degree

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

●      Ability to work effectively with student-athletes

●      Previous swimming experience

●      Effective communication skills
