Women's Soccer Graduate Assistant

OVERVIEW

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) is looking for a Women’s Soccer Graduate Assistant who will serve under the direction of the Head Coach. This position will assist in a number of capacities including practice planning and execution, coordinating operations and travel for the program, recruiting, community service opportunities, and other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Assisting the head coach with planning and implementation of daily practices

●      Coordination of operations, planning travel, per diem, meals and itineraries

●      Contribute to weekly staff meetings

●      Recruiting - In collaboration with the head coach

●      Coaching - In collaboration with the head coach

●      Coordinating community service opportunities

●      Assist with the management of equipment and travel

●      Assist with NCAA compliance reporting and academic monitoring

●      Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

●      Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education

●      Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students

●      Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

●      Ability to work effectively with student-athletes

●      Previous soccer experience

●      Effective communication skills
