Duties & Responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors for the Athletic Department.
Manages and provides high level concierge service to a Paciolan donor portfolio and a Raiser's Edge portfolio.
Providing high level of support in stewardship and recognition efforts for major gift donors.
Establish and effectively manage relationships with high-profile clients.
Provides ideas to leadership on policies, objectives, and plans for area of oversight.
Accountable for managing the planning, identification, and implementation of a coordinated program of major gift fundraising activities.
Establishes goals and objectives and impacts unit with decisions that affect short and long term goals.
Attends events to involve and cultivate prospects, to maintain and grow support for Athletics while aligning with the strategic mission of the University.
Attends high profile events as a key representative for the Athletic Department to cultivate prospects, and strategically involve campus entities to ensure long term goals
Oversee and manage complex gift proposals to support innovative donor stewardship initiatives.
Provide donor stewardship and service in various markets and regions, relying on communication skills that influence leadership and work towards major gift strategic goals for the department and institution.
Representing the department as a thoughtful leader who has extensive knowledge of cultivation.
Coordinate with other fund development and alumni relations staff both within the department and on campus.
Manage premium seating programs for donors, establishing policies that promote and increase revenue generation.
Key oversight and management of program budget and policies.
Supervisory duties include managing managers, hiring, performance review, training, and development of staff.
Coaches and develops staff to enhance leadership skills and expertise.
Leads team, projects, and programs for the department and oversees the work of staff.
Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
Minimum of 9 years of related work experience, including 5 years of managerial experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience leading a team, project, program, or function is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree.
Experience working for a Power 4 Conference.
