The Assistant Coach for Women’s Volleyball is a full-time position reporting to the Head Coach and assisting in all facets of a Division I volleyball program. The primary responsibility is to coach/teach, recruit, develop, and monitor the athletic and academic progress of student-athletes in accordance with University of Arizona, department, Conference, and NCAA policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Coaching student-athletes at all practices and games with an emphasis on the outside hitters and middles.
Recruitment of all student-athletes in the following positions: middle blocker, setter, outside hitter, and libero.
Lead trainer.
Assist in the scouting of opponents.
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of all applicable NCAA rules and regulations while fulfilling prescribed duties.
The ability to break down and analyze game film.
Fluent in Volleystation.
Budget accountability.
Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
One year of Division I Volleyball coaching experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree.
Experience as a coach or player in a professional setting.
