Ticketing Services Coordinator (Account Executive)

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), an NCAA Division I institution and member of the American Athletic Conference, is seeking a Ticketing Services Coordinator. The successful candidates will report to the Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Sales & Service. Primary duties for this position include the following:

 

·         Sell Season Tickets, Corporate Ticket Packages, Partial Plans, Group Tickets, and other Ticket products for all UAB Athletic Events

·         Call current and past customers and cold-call new sales leads to generate sales

·         Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales goals established by management

·         Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers

·         Provide superior customer service to clients throughout the season

·         Other duties as assigned by Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Sales & Service

Minimum requirements include an associate’s degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external constituents. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in writing. Candidate must also possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
