Associate Athletic Director for Fan Engagement and Marketing

Description

 

To serve as member of Athletics Department management team. To manage assigned unit within the Athletics Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing and directing all marketing efforts to maximize awareness, revenue, and attendance, and fan engagement for the athletic program.

  • Oversees and directs the UAB Athletics branding and licensing efforts while adhering to UAB’s brand guidelines

  • Partner with communications, ticketing, LEARFIELD, Blazer Boosters and other campus partners on rollout and execution of marketing and promotion plans.

  • Adhering to established budgets and developing strategies and campaigns to create a positive image and brand for the athletic program and its associated sports.

  • This position will also supervise the full-time marketing and promotions staff as well as appropriate interns, and student workers. 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education experience.
