The Director of Operations will direct the operational function of a competitive Division III team while following Transylvania University and athletic policies. This position will prepare student-athletes for personal, academic, and professional success. The position will direct the operational and logistics functions of the program including supporting recruitment coordination. This position requires frequent travel; work in the evenings, on weekends and holidays. Secondary duties will include event management/sports information. This is a full-time nine-month appointment.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) and either collegiate playing experience or coaching and effective communication/organizational skills. In addition, candidates should have an athletics philosophy compatible with a Division III liberal arts college with highly selective academic standards.
