
Leadership Agenda and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Oversee the Women’s Soccer Program and supervise its day-to-day operations
• Teach and instruct student-athletes in all aspects of soccer fundamentals, tactical systems, game strategy, and personal development
• Monitor student-athletes’ academic performance and social behavior
• Recruit, retain, and graduate quality student-athletes for Thiel College and the Athletics
Program
• Develop and implement a strategic recruiting plan—consistently meet or exceed recruiting goals and maintain target roster sizes (28+ student-athletes)
• Maintain the allotted budget and coordinate fundraising activities with the Director of Athletics and the Blue & Gold Club
• Develop a competitive competition schedule in conjunction with the Director of Athletics
• Coordinate and implement community service activities aligned with Thiel’s mission
• Mentor and develop assistant coaches
• Serve as a positive role model for players & staff
• Serve on campus committees as needed
• Serve as Game Day Administrator for events as directed by the Director of Athletics
• Follow all rules and guidelines established by the NCAA Division III, the Presidents’
Athletic Conference (PAC), and Thiel College.
• Carry out any other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics Thiel College Prospectus
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–4 years of coaching experience at an NCAA program desired.
