
TCU Athletics Business Office Graduate Assistant
This appointment is on campus and in person with training provided. You must be enrolled in 6 hours per semester and on track to graduate from the TCU Neeley School of Business in two years.
Responsibilities in the TCU Athletics Business Office include but are not limited to:
• Review and submit purchase orders and invoices for administrative expenses
• Monitor and support Athletics department staff with the procurement system (Jaggaer) and expense report system (Concur), providing troubleshooting and training as needed
• Facilitator for various financial requests – New Supplier, Purchase Order, Direct Bill and W9/Tax Exempt requests
• Assist with the per diem process
• Assist in the execution of departmental contracts
• Monthly reconciliations
• Ad hoc financial analysis
• Attend weekly Business Office meetings
• Liaison with university finance and contracts departments
Qualified candidates are or have:
• Currently applying to or have been accepted as a graduate student in the TCU Neeley School of Business (Professional MBA Program) for Fall 2026
• Desire to pursue a full-time career in collegiate athletics
o 1-year experience in the Athletics Department at your current or a previous institution is preferred
• Able to start Summer 2026 as a temporary employee if enrolled as a student for Fall 2026 Semester • Able to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (around class schedule)
• Strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills and extreme organizational skills • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse staff of 200+
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Self-motivated, a self-starter and have a dedicated work ethic
• Ability to work with confidential information
Compensation:

This is a two-year appointment with the expectation of graduation and is on campus and in person. This appointment will require a signed confidentiality agreement.
