Duties: The State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz welcomes applications for the role of Associate Director of Athletics, Wellness & Recreation/Business Manager in the Department of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation. This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Director of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation.

The duties for this positions include but are not limited to:

• Business manager for the Department of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation;

• Supervise the Athletics Business Coordinator;

• Point person for the department's Title IX guidance;

• Serve as department compliance officer;

• Facilitate student-athlete academic programing;

• Sports supervision for various sports and athletic coordinator;

• Help facilitate departmental fundraising activities;

• Assist with administrative oversight of event management;

• Serve as member of senior staff

As a member of the Department of Athletics, Wellness, & Recreation this individual must abide by all NCAA, State University of New York Athletic Conference and University rules as well.

Qualifications: Required:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least four years’ experience as a college administration

• Have NCAA compliance experience

• Demonstrated ability to establish good rapport and effective working relationships with student–athletes, coaches and staff;

• Ability to work weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule

Preferred:

• Master's degree
