Southwestern College is currently seeking applicants for a Women’s Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach. This position is on a 10-month contract that runs Aug 1st – May 31st. Southwestern College, an NAIA institution and member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), is a private comprehensive college with an enrollment of about 1,700 students. Position Description
Duties for position include assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program (practices, matches, recruiting, conditioning, overseeing academics, etc.). Primary focus will be planning and running goalkeeping sessions for both the Men’s and Women’s soccer athletes. Position compensated with graduate studies, housing, coaching & meal stipend. Candidates must be able to work long hours, be able to move and carry equipment above 50lbs and be willing to learn and follow direction.
This position is a shared position between the men’s soccer program and the women’s soccer program working primarily with goalkeepers from both teams.
Qualifications
Ø Bachelor’s degree and admission into a Southwestern College graduate program
Ø A valid driver’s license is required and must pass a Motor Vehicle Report
Ø Must pass a background check
Ø Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred
Ø Recruiting experience encouraged but not required
Compensation

Ø Meal stipend ($500 per semester)
Ø $5,000 stipend
