Senior Associate AD, Development for Athletics

Position Summary

The Senior Associate AD -- Development will be the primary day to day employee overseeing department wide development efforts, both with major gifts as well as annual giving. Will work with administration to maintain existing relationships as well as develop new relationships within the community and donor base. Will work with other senior administrators on capital campaigns and also coordinate with the campus advancement office on university wide initiatives. Department liaison with university advancement office.

Essential Functions

  • Oversight of department fundraising efforts, including major gifts and annual fund. Striving to increase giving annually. Liaison with the university advancement office.

  • Engage with community members, maintain, and develop donor relationships (both existing and new).

  • Member of senior leadership team to support management of the department.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree

  • Three to Five Years' relevant experience at an NCAA athletic department level with experience in fundraising and advancement efforts. Proven familiarity and commitment to adherence to NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree.
