Job details:
- Manage marketing and promotional strategies for Conference championships.
- In conjunction with neutral site championship local organizing committees, develop and manage sales strategies for Conference championships.
- Develop SEC Championship game scripts and coordinate promotional activities, presentations, public address announcements, video board operations and in-game entertainment where applicable for the SEC Football Championship game, SEC Soccer Tournament, SEC Volleyball Tournament, the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament, SEC Gymnastics Championship, SEC Softball Tournament, and SEC Baseball Tournament.
- Establish the SEC’s branding plan for SEC championships and collaborate with the SEC’s signage vendor.
- Assist with day-to-day management of network-related matters around sponsorships.
- Work with ESPN to identify appropriate activation opportunities and deliverables for SEC Corporate Sponsors at SEC championships and events.
- Collaborate with the Communications staff to assist with the development of the Conference’s annual creative direction and messaging, including assistance with development of messaging for TV, radio, digital and print platforms.
- Assist the Associate Commissioner of Communications with meetings and communication involving the SEC Marketing Directors.
- Collaborate with the Director of Video and Creative Services to update and distribute the annual SEC Brand Style Guide.
- Coordinate placement of the SEC logo in institutional venues and on uniforms.
- Collaborate with institutions and television partner to coordinate placement of Conference and institutional public service announcements on linear and digital programming.
- Manage the day-to-day oversight of the SEC’s licensing program, including working with the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) on SEC logo approvals and the championship locker room program (t-shirts and caps).
- Manage the execution of the SEC’s agreements with the SEC’s merchandise vendor for the SEC online store and on-site concessionaire programs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Conference.
